upload API?

Hello LibreSourcers,

in order to make our site even more dynamic, we would like to have some of the parts be maintained by a script; for example, our publication list is generated from a BiBTeX file and it would be nice to avoid copy-and-paste and, more importantly, to have each abstract page to be a libresouce page.

Does someone have experience with a login and post using elementary http-clients? Which http-client did you use?

Is there a client API for upload into Libresource such as the Blogger or Confluence APIs?
