The SVN server is running as Apache user on another computer with mod_dav enabled.

And I would like to have some forms of awareness visible within Libresource.

What do you try to do ? Integrate an existing svn with libresource ? This SVN is working on another computer ?

Can you provide a documentation pointer ?

The only docu seems to still talk about the local subversion server.

I don't know if I understand what you are saying, but for sure, the Subversion resource is more simple that what you are expecting. It allows people to create and manage security on svn repository available through http/webdav access.

I don't know if my explanation is clear as I might still have some alcool left in the blood. ;-)

Sébastien,

I am currently understanding that it should be possible for LibreSource to be configured for a resource to be the "view page" of a subversion repository.

So I would expect to find a possibility to add a "new subversion repository" as one resource type; in there one should enter the simple mod_svn URL and the rest would be transparent: notifications, history browsing, ...

Externals (svn externals), would then come as a fancy artifact to create artificial mod_svn URLs to encompass several others.

Do I understand that my first supposition is wrong?

That'd be fantastic.

I still like so6's gui front-end but there will always be hackers' celebrators that just wish to use their own repository. Saying LS supports "remote subversion" is definitely a gained freedom!

And then… if you're talking of externals… you say it… svn externals as well ? (i.e. only track a sub-tree that is populated with external).

ok, is there a doc that describes this conf, except the INSTALL_SUBVERSION.txt that describe how to configure a local svn server.

Yes you can.

We use two scripts to initialize the subversion repository, these scripts can address another server. Then the authentication is performed by an apache auth-module, and can also be remote.
