Thank you for this important information.

So if I want to synchronize with a So6queue on the LibreSource server, I have to select LibreSource client, or it will not work.

In the eclipse plugin the difference in the client choice is not what you think.

In fact, the plugin has already the whole application and don't need anything from the Libresource server.

The choice comme from So6. So6 can work without LibreSource server but then when you choose to work with the local client, you use an accessible file system has "server". So6 will store the history of your work localy in a directory of your choice. And when you want to synchronize your data with an other workspace, you will have to specify where it could find on the filesystem this directory… This kind of client is used for the validation of the So6 tests. The difference with this client, is that you don't have any awareness because you can't see who is connected, and it look like more a standard configuration management.

Hello,

I am using the So6 Eclipse Plug-in, and I wonder, what the difference between the setting for the Client type is.

I assume, LibreSource client will be downloaded from the LibreSource server and executed. Local Client, will start the local client installation. Fromt the functionality there is no difference. Am I right?

Thank you, Rüdiger
