It works well .

Yet it could be for a user to see the files he uploaded, just to check what he actually did. I understand that this might be wanted in some situations, and in some others its not wanted.

The solution, as it is now works fine.

Quite simply, create a Drop Box. You can allow the students to drop their files but not to see the content of the box.

What do I need to do if I want to allow my students to upload the solution of their assignments in an "Download Area" resource, but to not allow them to download the solution of their fellow students?

In LS 1.5, I created a group with all the students of the course, giving this group the upload right on the "Download Area" resource, but not the download right.
