A wiki macro is not sufficient for title's translation which you really want.

Add to it, maybe, the workflow markup "needs translation" etc...

This is something that we are thinking of… By know we use 2 seperate sub-tree with the same pages… en/fr

One of them would be to maintain document variants and let javascript do the jump if needed. It's simple and easy to work.

There could be other but they would need jsp tags in the wiki content… is this something planned?
