Maybe. We are using the Smack library for the XMPP client library.

We are working hard on the release of this next version. We are especially working on license evolution to the GPL, partnerships and announcement. The pré-package available here under QPL is technicaly very close to the final one.

Feel free to use it.

when will 2.3 be released ? I'm considering upgrading but I'd rather do so with a working googletalk connection… since this is quite precious. I'm a bit mistrusting unreleased software as you are offering, should I not ?

You don't necessary need a server linked with LS, so in libresourceConfig you just need to specify a valide jabber account. (i.e. : jabber.org...) Tigase can be linked with LS in order to provide jabber user account based on libresource user account automatically.

The tigase configuration can be tricky at the beginning…

Yep sorry 2.2.3 in fact. I'm just currently strugling with jabber config. I suppose everything is in LibresourceConfig.properties. Still trying though

Server settings are :
server name : talk.google.com
server port : 5223
security : old style SSL (TLS did not work)

And you should connect using your gmail identifier.
Unfortunately Jabber support is disabled on dev.libresource.org ;d

The new instant messaging application from Google uses XMPP protocol. Therefore Libresource notification may be sent to GoogleTalk client.
Has anyone already tried it ?
