comment by Sebastien Jourdain - 13 Feb 06 04:39 PM This work only on uploaded files not synchronized files. But this can be the subject of a specific development.

comment by Georg Lippold - 13 Feb 06 04:06 PM For me, that would be the main reason to use LibreSource. Almost all my projects are kept in some sort of CVS and I would like to have an interface with automatic indexation where I can search for specific contents and/or filenames. Today, I have to use find and grep to achieve this, but a Web-Interface would be much more comfortable; especially if also "binary" content like PDF, Openoffice etc. can be searched.
comment by Sebastien Jourdain - 13 Feb 06 03:42 PM This could also be done but that's someting that we don't want to do. Maybe a new king of synchronizer can be done with automatic indexation of the content.
comment by Georg Lippold - 13 Feb 06 03:39 PM I don't mean the commit message but the files I commited.
comment by Sebastien Jourdain - 13 Feb 06 03:34 PM You don't need to run the indexation periodically. The problem was just the first time. After it's automatic. But for better performance reindexing the whole content can be nice, specialy after a lot of add and remove of document.
comment by Sebastien Jourdain - 13 Feb 06 03:32 PM Sorry we don't index the commit message, but this could be done easily in futur release if its realy needed…
comment by Georg Lippold - 13 Feb 06 03:31 PM And is there some sort of crontab where I can run the indexation periodically?
comment by Georg Lippold - 13 Feb 06 03:30 PM thank you. It works now. I hoped that LibreSource would also index in commits, but I don't get any results from my commit. Any idea what went wrong?
comment by Guest - 13 Feb 06 03:20 PM >> http://localhost:9000/?action=indexation as root.

and retry your search query under /Search.

comment by Georg Lippold - 13 Feb 06 03:15 PM can you please post how the link should look like? I don't have one… Probably it would be something like ! index !, but it isn't ! index !.
comment by Sebastien Jourdain - 13 Feb 06 02:47 PM Did you index the content with the root user ?
  • Link on the root user page
Did you put something in the content of the form for the query ?
